All About Us
Welcome to the Donaldsonville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Information Center.
Whether you are interested in visiting, moving, establishing a new business or re-locating an existing business, we are here to help you. Our Chamber will soon be approaching 70 years in operation in a city that boast of a rich and colorful heritage steeped in history. Let us help you.
Located in the heart of Ascension Parish, our city once served as the state capitol. Driving through our city, you can experience the true gateway to Cajun and Plantation Country illuminated by numerous mansions that proudly stand along the Mississippi River. Our Historic District is second in size only to the French Quarter without the "big city" stress. You can slow down your pace with a walking tour. Stop by our office for a visit.
From hotel accommodations to fine dining to plantation tours to business meetings, our website is full of relevant information that will make your stay here, no matter how long, more enjoyable. If there is something you cannot locate on the website, please feel free to give us a call at 225-473-4814.
We look forward to seeing you and showing you the best Donaldsonville has to offer.
